E, thanks for the thoughtful response. I do believe we should all go back and review here a wise ladies definition of ad-hominem though, it appears I was not the only one unsure of its multiple definitions. But alas, the search engine failed me this time.

As an example of the kind of unintelligent emotional rant I am routinely tossed I give you this... Message 11483713
Doesn't that appear unbalanced to you? What do you figure a professor like that does to a student who dares disagree with him openly in class? Of course providing he has actually taught in the last twenty years (which looks in serious doubt). Never thought I would say I was glad the colleges routinely use grad students to teach.

As far as Zoltan is concerned, the only thing I know is he's a lawyer. Rudeness and name calling seem to go with that profession quite easily. You would think that people schooled in the art of debate and use of words to persuade, would have more creativity. I suppose some lawyers here actually think tossing bombs and rude notes back and forth, increases their level of "persuasive power". It doesn't, the opposite is usually what happens. Oh sure, you can get your cheering squad going from fellow lawyers from time-to-time, but that's about it.
