paul: thanks for your mmx scenario info. the adding of these mmx extentions makes sense to me. i expected this to happen and that it was just a matter of time. so is this going to eat away at those specialized makers of graphics accelerators and the like? i guess at the hight end, not. but for the home users, as much as u think games are silly :O) i really do think this would be a great motivator for people to buy the mmx. i would think that SIER and BROD would go nuts over something like this. but from the conference, they expected these souped up pcs to go for something in the range of $4000 or so? is this cost worth it? i guess for xmas... jiggy@inch.com
