I'm not talking about what E said, I'm talking about what Reagan said. I think it was discourteous, to say the least, for someone who spent the war talking into a microphone to class himself with "tired veterans" marching home from Iwo Jima or the Bulge, and I think his comment was, if not a technical lie, clearly intended to create an impression contrary to truth.
