Schmidt resigns; Jannard will assume role of CEO.

Schmidt had only held the post since April 21. A statement from coverage of the resignation on page B8 of today's Journal shows what Wall Street thinks of the company:

Oakley is rarely followed by analysts any longer -- those contacted said they had dropped coverage as the company's earnings declined and have failed to recover the ground it lost.
