Steve, It looks like Dell, who's just in time model gets hurt right away, is trying to use force on Taiwanese suppliers to bring their orders to the front of the line.
. Will they get Intel to carry their bat?
ie co-threaten?
Compaq and IBM will also wave their line jumping sticks?, as will all the other big players.
The Taiwan suppliers will jump at charging them a line jumping fee, I bet.
So prices will rise on small parts too? And the screwdriver shops will get to go to the end of the line. You can bet acer will not.
