Evan, sorry to read of your experience w/CDRD. It came across my radar while scanning warrant offerings (CDRDW), and was just intrigued by name of company. I read all the CDRD info, they even sent me a backgrounder video, but never did buy. It's one of those pie-in-the-sky stocks you have a hard time justifying to your spouse. ;-)
Sounds like you bought just when they expected inclusion on FCC agenda as "pioneer" of the technology. When that fell through, so did the stock. In hindsight, I realize that was perfect opportunity to straddle: short CDRD and buy CDRDW, then close whichever position was wrong ASAP after FCC news. CDRDWs have since expired.
I think the most demand (ironically, because co. touts the CD-quality sound to be provided) will be news and talk. For better or worse, many would love to get Howard Stern or Rush Limbagh anywhere in US (This is progress? :-) or Bloomberg/market news constantly.
BTW and FWIW, someone else referred to a "satellite launch." Make that satellites; plural, as in _two_ satellites. CDRD needs 2 properly launched and properly orbiting satellites to provide CD-quality sound.
Lastly, how is TUNE doing? Cable radio service...? Wonder if there are any parallels with CDRD business plan.
Well, that's my .02, will continue to lurk, and wish good luck to CDRD longs.
