I also doubt if Citrix will stick their thumb in Gate's eye. They will use other systems if that is what the customer wants, but they won't go out of their way to not use Windows

They don't have to do a thing at this point. They've already developed the ICA clients for all the currently available OS platforms. (Actually, I take that back, I don't think they got Palm OS on the list yet). It will now be up to the IT shops at each company (with the help of the 'suits') to decide what platform makes the most sense for the client side machines in the architecture. A level playing field where MSFT/INTC has to compete on price, something I don't think they've had to do for a while.
