Oct 08, 1999 - (Dayinvestor.com - Breaking News): MCRE - 5 5/8 x 5 23/32 - MetaCreations partners with Excite@home for Internet Broadband Service Though not yet released by MCRE to the public, Dayinvestor has confirmed with MetaCreations that they have partnered with Excite@home to include MCRE's MetaStream in software being developed for ATHM's internet broadband service. MetaStream is an open 3-D file format that enables the easy and affordable incorporation of 3-D images into almost any Web site. Jointly developed with Intel Corp., MetaStream addresses the need for 3-D files that stream efficiently over the Internet and automatically scales to the user's display and processing power for optimized viewing. MCRE officals would not comment on when they might put out a release on the deal.
