". . . you would have to put off
Sense and notion. . ."

And in the first quartet:

"What might have been is an abstraction
Remaining a perpetual possibility
Only in a world of speculation. . ."

You quoted my favorite author and favorite work. How did you know??

To make this post honest, as I sometimes try to do, I'm wondering if anyone has looked closely at the NEC-Sumitomo press release Steve Green posted yesterday. Considering these two companies established a $60M limited partnership venture capital firm, "effective April 2, 1997," and that Amati's partnership with Sumitomo was announced 5 days later, I'm wondering if there is any connection. Just a thought.

"In the uncertain hour before the morning
Near the ending of interminable night. . ."

Regards,

Pat
