Goldman as a underwriter has an excellent record and does Merrill and
HQ. Most of their fillings had IPO prices above the filling price.
The aftermarket was much higher after the IPO date so I feel the odds of a Goldman/Merrill/HQ deal are very strong. For Plug to have a director who is also a director of GE Capital Corp. is also very strong. I like the Fuel Cell Business plan in the Prospectus, and we have not seen any news from PLUG for the past 4 months; prior to that they averaged a few releases each month. The SEC quiet period has been in effect a while and I am betting that they have signed on more regional utilities and have other news releases. I also like the DTE
SRE relationship and feel that PLUG is the second largest soon to be public company only in the FC biz after BLDP which has a 2.4 bill market cap. With a bit of luck and imagination PLUG and the GE DTE SRE partnership should could approach or exceed the BLDP market cap.
Behind each share of MKTY there is about 1.2 shares of PLUG.
