Michael, Thanks for your thoughtful reply on Dell and Gateway. I understand your put strategy and it sounds quite effective. Is it simply for leverage that you do not sell short, except in your income portfolio hedging?

With more and more tech stocks of late getting hit heavily, such as Xerox and Hi/fn today, I am also thinking that the time to short NDX may soon be upon us. It seems to me that the NASDAQ 100, through QQQ, is having trouble setting new highs. Will give the irrational exuberance a little more room to hang itself here.
