Tim

I remember in Jan 99 when I was so sick with the stresses of a loved ones illness and death. I had lump in throat, shakes, rubber legs, no appetite, losing weight, and found out it was the effects of some of the things that had been going on in my life. I found the computer to be my saviour to escape into. Not much effort on clicking the mouse to get around, and I too found it relaxing and a distraction from my thoughts. When I could not sleep, I would just grab my laptop onto the bed, turn it on, and get into reading.

It passed pretty quickly, but it was heck to go thru.
No one really knows unless they have experienced it themself.

I was taught that you should leave people with kind words as you may never see them again. What would happen if we found out that one of the people here on the thread died.

Would we not feel sadness....no matter what they posted?

I would like to see this thread approach things in a more respectful way. It can be done. Just go to the Gorilla and King thread here on SI and see what a respectful thread that is. Ladies and Gentlemens thread indeed. They have disagreements etc, but it is approached so kindly and respectfully.
