Yes, 50 years ago, if the bloody Nehru dynasty had done something to tackle the problems that existed then, perhaps they could have been tackled. Instead, they compounded all the problems in India, and to such a state, that now it looks that nothing can be done about them.

Scapegoating implies that they are not in any responsible for this mess India is in. That they are innocent by-standers. I say crucify them! The entire ruddy family! How can anyone have even an iota of sympathy for them?
From your posts, you seem to think that BJP and allies are responsible for this sorry state of afairs! And they have been in power for, what, a very long 13 months! Yeah, they must be kicked out for causing all this population explosion, all this pollution, all this poverty, the Kashmir mess, the corruption, the babudom, the overflowing garbage cans (thanks to the Nehru-dynasty, these BJP chaps couldn't even find a clean spot to dance around! :-))
I am sorry, but I ain't buying it. I think *any* alternative, howsoever short, is better than Congress. All your fears of BJP+allies is purely hypothetical, visceral. No facts to sustain it. Just some imagined fears. Give them some time and space. Say 5 years (as Vajpayee asks). And if at the end of that period, they suck, throw them out. But folks like you want to kill the baby even before it walks, just because you dont like the color of the baby's skin, or dont like the first gaga that it mouths?
