James, First of all I am a Christian and believe in the covenant of God so, don't let what I am about to say take away from that. But, your comment about the Indians is incomplete. They maintain that the Great Spirit, the same monotheistic entity as that of the Jews and Christians, did not give them the land to own but merely to hunt and live on. That is the reason they could not understand the white men wanting something that could not and should not be owned, in their way of thinking. They were, of course, very ticked off if someone tried to take away their only way of feeding their tribes so, they fought for the "hunting grounds" with the same conviction as if they did own it.
I might add, if you insist in calling our Faith and Beliefs superstition and consort with the likes of Emile, I, for one, will not be sorry to see you go.
