You don't understand the dynamics of guerrilla warfare

I am very familiar with Afghanistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh. Remember that India has 2/3rds of Kashmir for 50 yrs still under its control since vivisection -"partition" does not explain it well - of British India. The Mujahideen, ISI agents and other misguided elements have not been able to dislodge the Indian army from Kashmir. I tell U the reasons why.
Contiguity of landmass - India and Kashmir.
The Americans did not have that luxury in Vietnam.
Maharajah invited the Indians
Cultural & religious affinity of Kashmiris with Indian Muslims and Hindus.
Continuous pacification of Kashmiris This is not a war against Kashmiri muslims, but is war against terrorists, enemies of the state and LAW & LOC breakers.
Benignity towards law abiding citizens in Kashmir.
Guarantee no forced immigration of Indians in to Kashmir - India could have made it in to another TIBET.
Kashmir for Kashmiris under Indian constitution as said above.
Kashmir is not all Muslims; What about Hindus who have been displaced. The Hindus need protection too.
Kashmir is part and parcel of India.
Kashmir, a historically a Hindu pilgrimage center even before the muslim forced conversions.
There are many more reasons why we will succeed.
