International Larder Minerals Inc. - Completion of an
Option Agreement

TORONTO, ONTARIO--International Larder Minerals Inc. ("Larder") is
pleased to announce that Explorers Alliance Corporation
("Explorers"), its wholly owned subsidiary, has now completed an
Option Agreement with Billiton Metals Canada Inc. ("Billiton")
respecting 201 mining claims in Beschefer Township, Quebec.

Under the Option Agreement, Billiton can earn a 51 percent in the
properties by making option payments totalling $100,000 by
November 25, 2000 and performing exploration work on the
properties aggregating $1,000,000 prior to November 25, 2001.

Billiton has advised Explorers that before spring break-up they
hope to complete an I.P. Survey over a majority of the properties
and to drill not less than four diamond drill holes to investigate
anomalies indicated by the survey. Billiton has further advised
Explorers that they have already commenced drilling on the
property. Billiton will prepare a budget for ongoing exploration
on the properties this summer when they know the results of the
current drill program.

Larder previously announced it had entered into a Letter of Intent
to acquire 100 percent of the shares of Explorers. The definitive
agreement for that transaction is in the final stage of
preparation and a closing is expected to follow without delay.
Larder is a junior exploration company with significant property
interests in Ontario and Quebec.
