They're either well aware of this situation, or they are so far out of touch that it doesn't matter. I don't think justice has the stomach for another big battle this close to an appointee changing election.

I hope that there is some other explanation for motherboards being withheld from the market, but if there isn't, then it's the civil litigators who straightened out Johns Manville and are in the process of rearranging the tobacco companies who will have to convince Intel that there are some rules to the game.

If 100K out of that 150K would have been sold at $300 each, that's $30 million - blatant RICO triples damages to $90 million. Add some incidental and consequential damages and you get to a couple of hundred million fairly easily. Punitive - the sky's the limit. 30% of that might be enough to make it worthwhile for someone to go after Intel.

As I said, hopefully there is some other explanation.
