James, my personal opinion is that all Gorillas become arrogant as they mature. You can find resentment among the value chains and users of msft, csco, and intc products, and even youthful qcom has become aggressive lately (as in the Philips negotiation). According to the fm, the only way a Gorilla is displaced is by discontinuous innovation.

In the case of Mr. Softee markets, I don't think there has been such innovation.
