Uh Bill - Re: ", It is what they call a stern chase. IBM, Compaq and now Dell and all the others will want a viable AMD to keep the prices very cheap"

As I recall, haven't Compaq and IBM been LOSING MONEY on their PC operations in the past few quarters - WHILE LOWERING THEIR PRICES TO LEVELS BELOW THEIR COSTS.?

I thought such bright companies wouldn't mind the good old days - when they ALL MADE MONEY.

Instead, they all want lower costs so they can lose more money - and make everybody happy - everybody but their shareholders.

Keep praying for your Communist Nirvana - where NOBODY MAKES MONEY !

But for now, Intel and Dell and us Intel/Dell shareholders don't want any part of your "EVERYBODY SHOULD BE PENNYLESS AND BROKE" Nirvana.
