Ian: Re: "Another violation of your terms of this thread. No discussions of beliefs, opinions or other pronouncements by Justa are permitted or one will immediately be guilty of getting on Justa's back."

When I analyze the Federal Reserve Policy, I use my best efforts to analyze it through the eyes of Greenspan. I check my own beliefs at the door. I will try to be more clear about that in the future although I have stated this before. But what you say is not true. Maybe you should check your approach to topics. Don't get me wrong. I love being likened to Scrooge for merely stating my opinion on what the Federal Reserve policy might be to the economic data <g>. I think it adds a lot to any debate.

Re: Re: "Justa, you've changed substantially."

Thanks for the on-line analysis of my personality <g>. But I just checked with my better half and she says I am the same person I was a week ago <g>. Funny, she thinks I am more like Bob Cratchet.

Re: "You mean the Green Man has more influence with you than da brinka, or whatever term of reverence you prefer."

Yes, the Green Man rules! What does Brinker have to do with this discussion? Nothing.

Re: " And both outweigh fundamentals for the long term."

Brinker has nothing to do with fundamentals as you well know. Greenspan, on the other hand, has the power to kill or make your portfolio. Fundamentals start with Greenspan and they could end with him as well. Even a Brinker robot knows this much.

Re: "Yes, there may be a few to a large number of investors that blindly react to a pronouncement from either of these heros."

Ignore Greenspan if you want. Let me know how it all works out.
