It was an attempt at humor LPS5-y! <g> I like your town-- probably my favorite place to visit (with the possible exception of Charleston, SC). I don't know of anyone other than locals who are interested in anything north of Central Park. IMO, all the cool things to do are south of that. China town (not too unlike the exchanges), Little Italy, Wall Street and the financial district, the Village (I'm not particularly interested in), Broadway and Times Square, and last but not least, a little place on 34th where a little guy named Kayani gives me great deals on Italian suits he imports and sells to various expensive retailers under different labels.
Dude, I wouldn't begin to debate the finer details of the NYC transportation industry with someone who lives in the city. My point was simply that a tourist (like me) can easily get to anything he is likely to want to get to from the WTC. In fact, a lot of the coolest stuff is in walking distance. I would plan on flying in Friday AM, check-in baggage with the bellman for an afternoon checking, and visiting the floor of the AMEX again. Or, maybe you can get me on the floor of the NYSE?
