I chose the wrong word. At this time MPPP is the dominant MP3 industry "participant". I think we are about to see several other large participants enter the fray. Watch for Tucows music.tucows.com to make a big splash in this area very soon. I don't disagree that MPPP's current business model is dangerous but like most internet companies they are trying to build their "currency" to be able to influence others and to build by buying other content and services. Just so you know, I am not a shareholder in MPPP. I think at this time it is too risky for me. I find the whole mp3 industry to be a huge opportunity for clever individuals.
