Ericsson Criticises Government Broadband Plans Ericsson is critical of proposals for state investment in broadband as it will have a negative effect and stop construction of a broadband network, according to Lars Stahlberg, director of information. According to Stahlberg, both Telia and IT firms are critical of the proposals. The problem is that when the state enters the equation as an investor, all other firms active in the broadband market will stop their investments to see what the state investment will provide, he said., adding that none of the firms currently building comms networks in Sweden will continue to invest.
