First let me say that it is good to see Allen posting again. I was beginning to wonder if he had had some reversal in his surgery. I am relieved to see that he is working 6-10'$.

Battery plant in Kettering is producing 2 battery packs per day of the 26 unit packs. As far as the hybrids go they are willing and able to produce them. Production from the plant can go far higher to more than triple this production level. The Honda and Prius both had the cylinderical 'D' cell batteries in them.

The GMO II batteries are very close to being in production within or near a month away. They are awaiting some validation. All the machinery has been sited at the Kettering plant. So there is not production of some parts of the battery at Troy and some at Kettering. This helps for efficiency, costs and planning.

The facility in Sarnia is in production, has been for about four months on an intermittent basis. Engineering of the process in the plant has been very poor, (Why do I think of Russia?) The good news is that even their offspec product is better than the Japanese1' best metal hydride powders. Their on spec product is sensational. Where is it going? I am sorry but I didn't get a clear understanding of a specific client. One client however committed to a 10 month supply. I was under the understanding that the powders were still being used for the consumer market i.e. camcorders, cell phones, laptops. The other info was that the powder was very power dense. This seemed to me that it would be ideal for the power tool market. I will try to bring more light to this matter as soon as info becomes available.
