Spotty performance-- at best

I reviewed the stock movement of secondaries underwritten by WIT in the past six months. The only trend I see is that overall market conditions seems to be a greater influence on post-offering performance than whether it is a Follow-on or Shareholder secondary.

XMCM 4/8/99-- 4.0mm total, 2.0mm Follow-On, 2.0mm Shareh.Second @$69
...next day jumped to $98 then dropped in 2 weeks to $62

SOFN 4/28/99-- 4.0mm Co. Follow-On @ $33
...dropped in a month to $19

TFSM 4/27/99-- 3.5mm total, 2.3mm Co.Follow-On, 1.1 mm Shareh.Second. @$46
...dropped in a month to $19

ABOV 4/30/99-- 3.0mm total, 1.8mm Co. Follow-On 1.1mm Secon. @ $85
...dropped in a month to $48

COVD 6/23/99-- Shareholder Secondary @ $39
...rose in 2 weeks to $66

JNPR 9/29/99-- 5.0mm total, 1.5mm Co. Follow-On, 3.5mm Shareh. Second. @$190
