Why do you Yousef, Paul, Joey keep flogging the dead horse? Everyone here know about Jerry...I suppose you would like to see AMD get out of the cpu business and let Intel raise prices. I don't think that will happen. At the least AMD will be driven into the hands of a foreign company, exporting jobs and technology.
1. Everyone knows about Jerry limosine and nude pictures.
2. Everyone knows AMDs stock price is about the same as it was years ago.
3. Everyone knows Intel has a lower cost per chip.
4. Everyone knows Intel will beat AMD to .18u.
5. Everyone knows copper is more chancy than Aluminum
6. Everyone knows AMD hasn't made a yearly profit in several years.
7. Everyone knows AMD is depleting cash.
8. Everyone knows the prudent thing is to sell off losing divisions
and maximize profits.

9. However, every AMD person here likes a horse race and would be dissapointed if AMD threw in the towel. It's all about competition.
It keeps the blood pumping, the human spirit alive. Apparently, it's more than just the stock price. Has to be. <G>
