Flash! "Uncle Franq, like GSM, is toast!" <vbg>

you're a gentle soul to let yourself be flayed in public, nuncle...so to cheer you up, I'd thought I'd twit Apollo as well with the following:

the question for 1999 then becomes are there any current gorillas [or gorilla candidates!] that are viewed so negatively by their customers that the customers will welcome an alternate choice if one were available?

Rambus!

I'm doing some DD on CREE, by the way, in case anybody's interested and would like me to post the results. First impressions: bright SP, possible DITR, not yet even a gorilla candidate (altho possibly down the road), worth watching for them that's interested and possibly worth investing in for them that's not constrained by GG principles.
