Though I have deep respect for Basilea Schlink and the works she accomplished the article was not written by her but by one of her followers. The Christians she alluded in the article is really the Roman Catholic Church which is headed by the Pope. However, the truth be known, Christians for the most part do not acknowledge the authority of the Pope nor the hierarchy of his church. Nevertheless, I believe the Pope already apologized to the Jews on behalf of crimes committed in the past so the matter should be put to rest. What amazes me is that the Jews have always looked for pity and restitution from an unforgiving world instead of submitting to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Chris
