and is suggestive that we have not made a bottom yet.

I am no TA expert, but the thought that we are in a 50% retrace bounce up before going lower has occured to me thus plenty of dry powder available in GNMA... Sentiment is about in the middle of recent extremes suggesting "it can go either way". Three large caps I own are selling at a discount now relative to the market AND their very recent highs. They could recover and drive the DOW much higher (HWP, IBM & T) but they may not have bottomed either.

OTH, I DO like the article in Forbes that suggested the market knows that Y2K will be a nonissue and might start pricing in next years good numbers soon and go on a tear.
