Spouse and the Helenator went to visit Spouse's parents - who recently moved to the central Valley 100 miles from here. They have a Weimaraner there who gets along quite well with our toddlerette. But something happened this time that Helen still hasn't gotten over. Seems Teetums (doan look at me - I wouldn't name a dog that even if I had accidentally eaten a month's worth of Premarin!) had some Quality Time in the backyard - and I quote Spouse - "laid a big ol three-log turd right in front of her" wide eyes. Helen was traumatized! She ran to momma and cried, and for the rest of the day it was "doggie doodoo doodoo doodoo!" Now I show her a picture of a Weimaraner on this gorgeous free calendar we got ar Petco. She gets this concerned look and points at the doggie's back end and for five minutes says "doodoo doodoo doodoo...". I don't know why, but this event made a mark on our little girl. First of the Facts of Life I guess.
