Gary, if you lose InterQuote data, the problem could be one of these reasons.

1. InterQuote computers are down.
2. The local provider for InterQuote is having problems.
3. The major backbone provider to the local provider (for InterQuote) is down.
4. Somewhere along the path, a independent backbone provider for the Web is not working in a certain area of the country.
5. Your own local provider is not working.
6. Your personal computer is down.

You must determine what backbone providers or local providers around the country are causing your problems. My own experience has led me to determine that AGIS thru Chicago, can be bad sometimes. Mae-East is another problem provider at times. On the other hand MCI and Sprintlink seems to be very good. Remember, these companies that I have mentioned are all backbone providers and not related with your own provider or with the local provider for InterQuote. The trick is to find a local provider that has the least amount of connections thru the backbone to InterQuote that avoid the independent backbone companies that cause most of the Internet problems.

Since you do not have Win95, you might ask your current provider to do a trace route and e-mail the results back to you. If you can find a local provider that does not have a problem pathway on the Web to InterQuote, great. I use one of the national providers from the list that InterQuote posted. They have determined that these providers have the least amount of problems with the connections to the backbone.
