tb, I think there is a much broader set of Gorillas in the tech sectors than we discuss. Those you have listed as Mature Gorillas are actually the very rare and powerful Enabling Gorillas, which should include Q. Microsoft is the Silverback of the category, and is already beginning signs of a metaphor shift from Gorilla to Cash Cow, a la GE. Intel and Cisco still in their lusty primes, and Q is rapidly approaching maturity. Imo gmst belongs in the candidate category.
