We will have to see how MSI is able to leverage the acquired development team and products. They have a cube product now, and the next generation of MSI products now have the option of offering speed, performance of the cube and the scalability of the ROLAP. MSI strategy does not depend on Teradata success. Remember, they work against any ODBC compliant Relational database. Your comments about 'SQL generation from MSTR", I believe are based from the Dayton days of yester years. VERY OLD STUFF. I think enough has been said about MSTR being NOT being a CONSULTING COMPANY. You are repeating yourself here. TTF: Why don't you build a SQL Engine, if you think it is that easy, and maybe the readers will have something more substantial than your few anecdotal experiences from the 70's to make up their minds on?
