Thomas,

"I think it is wonderful that you can see the good in this tragic event. But back up, and ask yourself, why would an all powerful God allow such a tragedy in the first place? It doesn't make any sense."

Isaiah 55:9
"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Can't tell you that one....

Purely guessing, but sometimes I wonder if its because we are so dense and stupid, the only way God gets us to listen is by tragedy. Otherwise, we would ignore him!

Wouldn't you say, by your own experiences and watching others, most only seek God when tragedy hits? It seems, by human nature, for most, when the goings good, there is no need for God. Its only when things go wrong when God enters the equation........

Just a thought.....

God Bless,
Steve

PS- I guess what I am saying is to blame ourselves when bad things happen because we don't listen when things are good. We are to blame for our own tragedies.....
