Zs and All, On Barron's: That bit telling the truth about GE by Abelson is by far the best thing in Barron's this week. That and his comment about the reported govt. numbers being hard to believe. "And, in fact, we don't." I laughed. Epstein covers the issue in much more boring detail, but that pithy comment that Abelson doesn't believe the #s tickled my fancy much more than Epstein's ramblings. <g>

I had forgotten so many of the names that were market favorites in 1973 that I appreciated Barron's listing some of them. Solitron and Alphanumeric were two I remember well. Fluff stocks similar to many of the high flyers in today's market.
