Being A Writer Aint As Easy As It Looks Words all around me and not a complete sentence anywhere; verblessness rampant nowadays, in some quarters anyway. Nouns working at chasing verbs until they become participles (or was that a gerund...?? Working women [of the secretarial kind] might know). Editors excising words, rearranging punctuation putting one in mind of: "Excuse me Mr. Picaso, did you really want that painting to look like that?" Right. PCM
