I agree that the present position on women, via the offical Promise Keepers web site, is innocuous. As I said, I know people in the organization, including my own father, and therefore, know for a fact that the position was different earlier. What is to be made of this? You could argue that the earlier position has been abandoned. Or, you could argue that the earlier position is embarrassing, and has been downplayed for public consumption. I have no opinion, only time will tell. As Reagan said, facts are stupid things, and the truth is the truth.
