when they filed this offering with the SEC, it is for a predetermined number of units...They have all been sold and are now trading on the exchange, meryl has already bought the underlying stock. If I buy 100 shares of HHH, no one will go out and buy shares of the companies to fill my order. I am just buying ownership in the trust from someone selling it, the exact same way as if I buy a share of GE....
There could be arbitrage going on here, but that will only matter to institutions who would be buying Miillions of dollars of the units and shorting the individual stocks, or visa versa. This isn't any different than the S&P spyders.
Please correct me if you know me to be wrong.
