Charley- Apparently they were. One can find many quotes of the very same Founding Fathers both extolling the virtues of Christianity (in general and in their lives) and also quotes that are quite the opposite. That is hypocrisy. My assumption is that as politicians(which they clearly were) they spoke to both sides of the argument when they felt it convenient. What do you call it? Mark
