CC, OK, it wasn't your statement. I was trying to make the point that true happiness is not found in anything that has a price-tag on it.

"Sell your possessions and give to the poor."

Charity begins at home.
I also mentioned that God gave me common sense and financial wisdom to provide for my family.

I give to the poor through my church, which I am the bookkeeper for, on a voluntary basis, so I know exactly how money is being spent. I also do other types of volunteer work in my community.
