Bob - Many of the press articles give the impression that QCOM does not have IPR for W-CDMA. It would certainly give me more piece of mind if I could see this acknowledged more often.

It's certainly true that prior to the Ericsson deal there were a lot of news stories that said flat out that Qualcomm's IPR was only for narrowband, but these have largely disappeared, or at the very least, become much more subtle. Much more telling is that Ericsson is licensing for W-CDMA as are the Japanese companies, as has Philips, ... .
