jim .. i think that you can get the light to reflect a different part of the spectrum by changing the angle of polarization.. and you are corect the sunlight will only be directly affected at one angle if only one lens is involved.
but a lens that is etched like a prism may be a different animal.. i can imagine that with changeing polarization you may get a different color of light transmission..
and i would agree on the round part..
but i do think they will sell a lot of them.. they might be very good for night vision enhancement if one of the coatings was like the coating on my stiener scope i use in hunting, or if you were in a green enviromrnt and wantede to favor other colors..etc..
at least the company is trying to get actual products out the door.. heck jim thats got to be good for a dime or two..imo
