Eyebalz: just some talking points.

Lasix is also "adjustable". An enhancement can be performed ( for no additional charge) at any time.

Lasix done properly ( on the right patient) produces very minimal scarring. Sometimes the scarring is so minimal it is barely detectable.

Very minimal scarring - barely detectable? I still prefer the procedure which does not interfere with the central optic region. I prefer the Intac 'spacer' approach to reform the lens rather than the Lasix 'file' approach which removes tissue.

Lasix can not be done again (to fine tune the previous results) for 1-3 months after the initial procedure - giving the eyes time to heal completely. INTACS on the other hand, would be better 'fine tuned' (although with only three sizes available it is doubtful that fine tuning would be an option) the next day - before any healing has occurred.

Just because it's adjustable or reversible does not make it a great procedure.

As I have said in the past, I have never seen a patient with intacts, I have several Happy Lasix patients.

Just because you have not seen an Intacs patient, does not make it a bad procedure.

There is plenty of market for both. One aspect I like about Intacs is the portability. It can be done as much more of an 'out patient' affair. From the less invasive aspect as well as the fact you dont lug a laser around. The potential third world market is huge.

Monday morning conversationally yours,
