Mackie's annual report and proxy arrived today. Interesting reading. Says there's only 80 shareholders of record! And insiders own 80.9% of the company! No wonder this stock is so sleepy. The performance of the stock is terrible. Plot out a 18-month chart and you wonder if there's some mistake --- it looks like a mirror image of what it should be. Can Mackie do $100 million in revenues for 1997? Or, will it do less than or about the same as 1996 ($73 million)? I kinda fear it's going to be lucky if it squeaks by with $73 million in revenues in 1997. Some numbers (as of end of 1996) that remain interesting: Cash and short-term equiv's = $14,024,697.00 Cash per share = $1.09 Revenue per employee = $217,317.51 Long term debt = $0.00 Any other MKIE shareholders out there?
