><>....Paul....That reminds me of an event concerning a President of the U.S. who was returning from a Safari vacation.....a missionary, who was also deep in the jungle, happened to be on the same ship home as the President.....When the ship docked...thousands of people gathered to welcome the president....voices cheering and singing to a marching band and fan-fare all around.....the president felt quite at home again..... The missionary quietly left the ship walked down the street and caught a bus to the train station....boarded the train to a small mid-west town and headed home....many hours later he got off the train at his station in the stillness of the night...and not a soul was there to greet him....feeling kind of lowly..as he walked the streets to his house......he looked up to heaven and said... "God, I go all over the world for you and preach the gospel of your Son Jesus.....I never brag about it or even discuss my pains and sickness, I just keep going for you.and in many cases it is quite the contrary....I get spit upon, cursed at...called such vile names And all because I bring the Good News of my Lord Jesus........I just get a little sad for myself when I see all the fan-fare kinda welcome homes that other people get....and they are not doing your work".....As he reached his house and unlocked the door......He heard a voice reply from the heavens....."My son, you are not home yet".... Lest we become bitter and lose sight of our mission... Love in the Lord Jesus Shalom.....><>
