RE>>Was this a random assignment?<<

No and you need to be careful about the way you treat God's Ordinations and Predestinations. It is not some willy nilly thing that God Himself wrote the names of those whom he would save in the "Book of Life" before the foundations of the World. It is life and death and no small account if you have found the Grace of God ! It is a gift that will not be given to everyone.

Matthew 7:22 " Many will say to me in that day, Lord lord, have we not cast out demons in thy name? and in thy name done many wonderful works ?

Do you think the people in the above verse " Knew ABOUT Jesus "

Do you think that they were casting out demons perhaps in churches somewhere ???

Do you think they never heard the doctrine about ACCEPTING JESUS as THEIR PERSONAL SAVIOUR ???

I say unto you. That they did the alter calls and the whole unbiblical parade but what does Jesus say to them before he sends them to Hell...

NEXT VERSE : " and I will profess unto them, I never knew you depart from me , ye that work iniquity.

when Jesus says that " He never knew them " that he did not know they existed.. Or was unaware that they were there ??? He is God he knows how many hair are on the head of all of his children right now and 10 years from now... NO he KNEW THEY WERE THERE... He never "KNEW" means he never LOVED them. They were not the Chosen.
