MIAMI (CBS.MW) -- Investment firm Dominion Income Management Inc. wasted no time scooping up a chunk of Perfumania.com, the online fragrance purveyor announced Monday.
Perfumania.com (PF: news, msgs), which made its debut as a publicly traded company Sept. 29, said Dominion filed papers with the Securities and Exchange Commission revealing that it had acquired 1.55 million shares of the e-tailer on the open market between Sept. 29 and Oct. 8.

Shares of Perfumania.com were off 5/16 at 6 5/16 Monday afternoon. Individual entities are required to file with the SEC when they acquire a stake in a publicly traded company exceeding 5 percent. With 7.5 million shares outstanding after Perfumania.com's IPO, Dominion's stake would be more than 20 percent.
