Doug: I have been getting prices and availability for OR840 mobo, 4 RIMM sockets 2 per channel, for VC820 mobo, 3 RIMM slots, and for CC820 mobo, 2 SDRAM slots all three arriving within 2 weeks. If multiple suppliers appear to be giving me same story, I have to believe them to some degree. Two have been by phone who did not dispute Tech Data's web site shipment schedule but did indicate products will be available very soon. All dates discussed were in next two to three weeks. If you are plan to be long term RMBS, the dates, quantities, and or pricing are not the most important thing, it just that the process of RDRAM products has begun to start. Where it ends no one knows. I just know you have to own RMBS stock in order to partiscipate in any upwards movement it may have product ships weather in be 10 of thousands of PC's in next 3 months and increasing dramatically from there or millions of Playstation II's in March 2000. The numbers for Playstation II's were indicated as millions per week shipping in March. I have to believe those numbers since Toshiba has been making and will continue making RDRAM exclusively for Sony for next 5 months. john
