ayahuasca: Please note the following post that I slapped on the Yahoo board. Also, note that while your posting compares MSFT and YHOO in some way, TMCS is actually involved in each of those. It is continuously getting closer to MSFT and, yes, tickets on YHOO are processed by TMCS. Now notice the possible upcoming travel deal. As I had posted recently, TMCS is a possible buying opportunity because of 1) the megadeals of which it is a part (MSFT consortium, Sidewalk, etc.) and 2) the monopolistic nature of its business.
I value your input when it comes to the finances, but you have to realize that, while TMCS is not a slip-shot company, it is not going to show any appreciable earnings in the near-term. Therefore, your posting about the Yahoo! Sports is just another example of the consolidation to TMCS in the ticketing business and yet another example as to how you need to be more open-minded. Look for a near-term consolidation, believe it or not, in the travel industry, which will include TMCS somehow. I do not have any idea to what extent or if it will really impact the stock price, but there is reason to believe that it will. Please check... I have been right on the LCOS deal failure, I have been right on the MSFT action team, and I was right that the LCOS deal would actually have been good for TMCS in the long run. Not that I am a genius (which I am, by the way), and not trying to gloat, I am merely showing you that my reportings have been on target in the past and I have reason to believe that the travel report is probably reliable. |
