rudedog:<qcom> from purely a technological point, can any competitor significantly slow them down? Also, with the market cap going crazy like it is, will some new bright minds, improve greatly on the Q hardware/software algorithm...or is it likely near to impossible... Did any of your technologist friends, predict this kind of market domination...Do you think it will just plain keep going? I know they control tons of patents...question is, is there the possibility of doing "it" a whole different way? Would IBM's labs be capable of a feat like this? Sure would satisfy Lou's kind of criteria, for real action... ... Have you been surprised, by its performance? Seems to me that you, as a technologist, would have been one of the first, to see this situation...hope you don't mind answering...
